I have always wanted to build a slingrifle and ever since I got the Glowforge laser I had the idea of cutting it out of many layers of plywood and stacking them up to create the body of the Slingshot Rifle. My goal is to make a very powerful slingrifle that will give me the ability to make accurate and consistent shots for hunting small game.

    I love the video, but if I tried this, my new nickname would be "Nine-fingered Frodo"!! I finally got my Hammer XT put together!!     Another sight solution for this that could improve safety, is canting the sights at a 45 degree angle and offsetting them on your firing side. AT4 RPG tubes have sights like that, which work well for shoulder-fired weapons. That would keep the operator’s head away from the path of the slingshot band a little more.

    Make a tall wooden plate to screw a picatinni rail to it and it will help you mount a scope very easily
