Linda, love the new fabric on your chairs. Everything is beautiful 😍 ❤
Great idea making slip cover for your chairs. I love the deer in your topiary pots outside. 🎄
I really love that you have added accents of blue. It adds so much depth. I really like all the cushions. I made a lot of cushions recently.
Great ideas ! Sometimes I place (heavier material) cloth placemats over seat cushions to get a cohesive look. However as stunning as your table looks , noone will even be looking at their seat !!!! Holiday blessings to you and Stewart !!!
Linda, I have a vast collection of blue/white china which I incorporate into all seasons, including Christmas. I love the fabric you chose for your chairs. You may find (as you continue to use more blue/white in your home) that the “clash” you are seeing now will begin to fade. Like animal prints, many have come to see blue/whites almost as a neutral. Give it some time.
Hello Linda! Amazing decor. I like what colors you use in your interior. Happiness and health to you👍🌻💙
Your table and flowers are beautiful. I understand what you see in the blue seat covers , but if l was a guest for a holiday dinner , l would be much more interested in the conversations, friendship, food and festive happenings than what the seat cushions looked like . (I also wonder if flipping them over would harm the fabric as well as not be comfortable to sit on ).
Your table and house look amazing, relax and enjoy it 🥂
Just a thought. Would the red tea towels that you said could be used as napkins, cover the seats, just tucked in as a temporary measure.
Beautiful table and decorations!
Love the chairs and blue is my color. I love that you use your Mother’s items. I try to do that too and my Grandmother’s things.
While I don’t think you need to worry too much about seat/tablecloth mismatch, a total chair slip cover might also work. I bought a set of beige/taupe chair covers that hang to the floor and tie in back with a sash to put over high back chairs. I bring them out for times like that
I absolutely love your taste! Fabulous ideas, hugs from Montana
…the vantage point from the living room looking out to the dining room is absolutely beautiful…the circle topiaries are in perfect center and the color scheme is spot-on. 👌 …and you look beautiful in your red. I'd say it's one of your 'Color Me Beautiful' shades. (I love pearl station necklaces too!) Warm Christmas blessings to you and your loved ones and to Stewart and his mama, SueSue. Love you bunches!🙏😘❤️👩🏼🌾💚🎄🌟 =^..^=
LOVE your introduction of blues into your home decor!
Where have you been all my YouTube life.??
I just found your channel and I am thoroughly enjoying every video. I love listening to all your stories and your plethora of knowledge. You are absolutely adorable and I just want to leave a comment and let you know, you have a new subscriber ❤😊

Linda, have you tried using a standard pillow case to slip your seats into? I also have patterned seats on all my chairs and use pillow cases to create a more consistent look. If your seat is a little too small to fit snuggly, place your seat inside and tie the four corners with a little twine or pretty ribbon. My seats are a bit thicker, so they fit nicely into a standard case. I tuck, the excess under And use a staple gun to secure the extra fabric. And, your tablescape and arrangement both are lovely!!!
You should be known as Ms . Comfy Cozy…….everything you touch always seems so comfortable and your creativity shines. Wish you a grand and special holiday.
The view from the living room into the dining area is absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could create beauty like that in advance but my cat thinks he calls the shots. 😕
Love how you decorated! So beautiful!….but I still miss the red dining room! Do you ever miss those red walls?
Merry Christmas, Linda and Stewart!
What is the name/species of those darling evergreen trees you potted up? I found one in my stone mulch border this fall and saved it, in true Linda fashion. Do they grow large? Great idea for the slip covers — you could probably add elastic to the bottom, like in a fitted sheet, to avoid slippage.
