    We had so much rain this spring and summer. No one was able to get into the fields. Hay has been trucked in. $27 per square bale, has been difficult

    I am curious, is your hay really only $9.00 a bale or is that a number that you just tossed out there? I pay $25.00 a bale and that is the cheapest stuff out here where I live. I know different parts of the country have different prices so I am genuinely curious. I love watching you guys by the way!

    Thank you so much for saying that We have always survived and we all know how. Our families did , and so did all the generations. Don’t be assume by all the fear just do what is right for your family and stop trying to hurt others. Trust in God we are all going to be alright.

    Just wanted to give you a glimpse of my happy. A almost 93 year old grandfather on hospice who believes in the Lord. New rabbit babies on the farm and since it's technically winter even in Texas taking time to learn a new hobby. Learning how to quilt since the canning season has slowed down. Live every day to the fullest enjoy your family while you have them and don't be scared to try new things. I have watched y'all for only a few years and you have been an inspiration in my life. Only been homesteading since 2018 was living in Houston, TX before then now on 11 acres and love life and would never go back. Love y'all so much keep inspiring me to try new things. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

    Just started watching, but dont like your title. Sounds like youre saying give up and submit, just take care of yourselves. If you stay in your ivory family tower and dont help fight, nothing will change and someone else will have to do YOUR PART TO GET BACK AMERICA. NO WAY SHOULD YOU JUST ADJUST. I susbscribe to the Doug and Stacy philosophy. You just gonna sit back and watch them take our kids, as long as yours are fine in your compound? Yes, Im angry.

    You dont have to lay down & take it though! Some rise in cost is fine but this is wrong! Just sucking it up & dealing with it or taking it is being a push over & only allows it to happen time & time again. Cant just take it & deal with it!

    When you really look at life, there is so much more positivity than negativity. Just that some days you have to be more determined to see the positive amongst the other, it's there, just learn to recognize it 🥰

    My eBay store is down by more than 50% and it became clear just before last Christmas. Our sales are donated to my 501 C3 nonprofit which we have really felt. Pet food is twice as costly. I definitely spend too much on feed but the new Guineas (27) are eating a lot and stealing the cat food. Too many guineas. Some need to be sold .

    Love your Zac Brown story. Recently my husband and I left for a 10 day road trip on a Saturday, we stop by the bank at 9am to get cash….bank closed! We counted our money and had $65 between the two of us. We were like oh well, this is going to be interesting. When went through all the tolls in WV we really started laughing, that took $13 of our money. Then we went to a bar with a cover charge and my feeling happy self told the people behind us…. we got you! I totally forgot we didn't have much cash. Anyway long story short we made it back home 10 days later with cash to spare (We stayed away from toll roads) and a great memory/story. Because of the some of the homesteading channels I watch we almost did not take that trip. I really felt we should save the money but we aren't getting any younger and this economy isn't going away. Take the trip! We had the best time in several years!

    Hey guys my son got dumped by a girlfriend on Valentine's and took me to a three-day tri-fecta Zac Brown Band and Blackberry Smoke February 2013 Kansas City MO, Springfield, MO and Omaha, NB. My son came in from Virginia and we went road trippin' I was on cloud nine for weeks as I was able to meet them all at gatherings and an "Eat and Greet" with Zac's special chef and band members. I was never one to be totally star struck but I had to mention to Zac that he was the one who determined the gender of all his babies. He replied he had given her a few million options lol. He had 4 very young girls at the time and eventually had a baby boy. I think sadly he has gotten a divorce after a few years. I pray for Blessings of peace for him and all his family, band, and staff.

    8° this morning. We gad 2xhiurs of sunshine on Thursday, WONDERFUL. Ground is covered with 3 to 6" of snow, ice storms,. I've had enough cold. Last gas bill was huge for me.
