    No major issues. That’s why forethought is very important in building. Are you going with a basement in the OGP main house? If not, all these inconveniences, help with those plans as well. Love you all. It’s beautiful to see you and the animals settling in together nicely.❤❤❤

    For an Island that size , Code would require at least Two , one at each end and one in the middle . If you had done it before the concrete slab was poured , it would have required the wiring to the receptacle outlets in the island to have been wired with 12-2 UF sleeved in 1/2 '' PVC schedule 40 in the concrete slab

    Al – Power outlet in pantry. Non stair end has an outlet. Plug into the outlet and tie wrap to the shelf wall brackets. screw multiplug to wall. Off the floor the entire way and no trip hazard. Maybe just longer cord.

    How close is the off-grid house to a consistent stream of water? If there's something nearby, you can always use a little streambed-anchored water turbine in it to supplement your electricity generation on cloudy days.

    Dang dude went a little overboard on the advertisement?!? That totally ruins wanting to watch at all. I get it… make that money but don't make it so boring that people would wanna switch videos to not have to deal.

    Al for the island you can buy a piece of stainless and drop it down to 3 feet above the island and get the gusset for the ceiling and mount a decorative box on the end of the stainless

    I have a solution for your electrical: run it through the ceiling and down through the wall for your breakfast area, and through the ceiling with a retractable outlet that can retract flush with the ceiling when not used at the island. 🔌

    Al, buy a Kreg pocket screw jig. The Pro version is about $120 on sale at Lowes. You will wish you bought it sooner.
