Love the ECW era, what is Joey Styles up to?
Paul believed highly in Steve during his WCW days. Steve was in a bad place emotionally after being let go by WCW, and Paul Heyman really helped Steve harness that bitterness and anger, and channel it into a newer persona that would end up becoming Stone Cold. So it was mostly Steve with some solid guidance by Paul.
Steve Austin was supposed to beat Hulk Hogan at War Games but Hulk Said it wouldn’t work for him so sent Bischoff a snap to fedex a pink slip to Austin’s mail box which is when he climbed the ladder in ECW and stunnered Jake Roberts for the King of the Ring back in the day because he wanted to win.
Paul heyman is a creative genius…though not the best businessman
Austin really found himself in ECW, and if it wasn't for the few months he spent there, who knows if we ever would've seen the Stone Cold he evolved into. Ironically enough, Austin wrestled 2 matches in ECW and was pinned in both of them.
