   I had to use a 0% credit card to pay for my fur babies vaccinations, $143.00 I got a failure to yield ticket $280.00 that went with the car accident full coverage $500 deductible. I will be eating from my preps. This is scary it will be hard the 8.7% increase in our social security amounts to $90 more a month, psh!!!

   I was looking for a ham for Christmas dinner and I was in Kroger. I go to the hams and I about hyperventilated! $ 69.79 for I ham! Very low on bread! Needless to say I left that ham!

   November 29th I went to Fred Meyer, their 60 ct eggs were 9.89. I can't believe people are paying over 20.00 for five dozen. This is in Idaho. What a difference in prices across the country. Next time I go I'll look at them again. Might be time to buy some powdered eggs.

   Popcorn.. definitely something to look at buying in bulk and learn how to make your own. We have a popcorn popper looks like a plastic bowl with a lid that you put popcorn in along with oil or butter put in your microwave and make yourself much cheaper and not weird ingredients. We buy in bulk at a store called GFS Gordon Food Service. Its just my husband and I a large bag I want to say 10 pounds have no idea what it cost now since one bag will last us about a year.    I was at Aldi's yesterday a dozen eggs was $4.11. I was at Sav Alot today eggs were $4.99 a dozen. I was at Krogers today their eggs were $2.99 a dozen. Anna In Ohio

   Unbelievable in Oregon an old store over 20 year's is having a Grand Opening. Yep so what does this mean for a Safeway? Yep New owner . I can put away with bone in hams at a $1.47lb only one so having each of my kids get one for there home. Then $.63 a avocado yep I bought lot's so I can freeze and eat . A little this and that but still have to watch what we do and it to add the price yes watch your buying that you don't get ripped off.

    Attention Kroger shoppers in SE Ohio; you can score 25 pound bags of Smidge and Spoon sugar for $18.00 each. I just put away 50 lbs of sugar in food grade buckets for $36.00 and change.
    Eggs $3.49 for a dozen large white. Got 4 dozen over 2 weeks to freeze.
    60 eggs $17.95 for large white.
    You can now get 4-packs of canned veggies for $4.00. Supply still pretty good, but corn, peas and green beans thinning out.

    Ty, 2 pk 18 count $8.28, don't sell 20 count or don't have em. Bought the 2 pk of 18 count, when I opened em to use today saw those were much smaller than the regular 1 doz boxes. Twin pks are wrapped so can't open em to see the sizes. I had some eggs left from the plain old dozen boxes

    I have eggs in my fridge I bought on sale at .99/dozen. They have a mid-October expiration date (I'm sure they're still fine), which means that the last time eggs went on special here was sometime in September. Just checked online prices for stores in my area: Walmart – $22.03 for the 60 count, Sam's $8.32 for 24 Eggland's Best, looks like Sam's is sold out of all other brands, local chain grocer average 42 cents per egg for store brand. Yikes. I used to eat eggs for breakfast every morning. I've been eating a lot of oatmeal and making pancakes with only one egg in the batter. Waiting for a sale which may not come before I use up my stash.

    I went to Wal-Mart in Oklahoma today no heavy whipping cream and still no corn meal except in jiffy muffin mix. I haven't found corn meal in Wal-Mart or Family Dollar. No one mentions corn meal shortage wondering if its just the 20 mile radius around my house.

    I don't know if anybody out there watching yummy bites TV she said she was going to make cornbread one day and realized she didn't have eggs so she googled it and she is three tablespoons of arrowroot powder three tablespoons of water is equivalent to one egg so I guess you double it if you need two eggs she said that cornbread turned out so good her murder show love that it was so delicious so we need to start finding some arrowroot before they stop selling it take care of y'all God bless

    The price of beef is ridiculous. A large tube of cheap ground beef was over twenty dollars. I couldn't believe it. These tubes seemed about eight dollars just a few years ago.

    Oh my 2023 is not looking any better 🙁 thank god I have chooks! Here in Australia some of the bigger supermarkets have “locked in prices” til Jan 2023… just wondering what the new prices will be. Till then I will keep buying one for now and one for the stockpile x

    p s : Amazon is scamming prices hard, especially if you dont pay attention on price switches and putting a debit or credit card on what should be a SNAP purchase — gotta check the right box … also, they have loaded a "tip" on your bill, if you dont click it and make zero dollars, it is about 5 dollars more … that is to trick fu8k seniors and others in a hurry … spread the word…

    Prices will go up in 2023.

    Department store eggs
    10 large white eggs 368 yen
    US $2.70
    10 large brown eggs 389 yen
    US $ 2.85yen.

    Organic eggs are much more expensive.
    Artificial eggs ( not real eggs) are slightly cheaper, sometimes selling for 100yen, US $0.73cents per 10 eggs.
    PS Japan do not sell eggs by dozen.
    I don't know why.

    Just wanted to drop a little note and say if anyone out there has food stamps. Be careful. I just had $130 of my food stamps stolen when I was at home. I don't know how they did it. They got a hold of my number and took it out of my account. I checked with the food stamps s here in California and they said they're doing it terribly. So be careful. Watch your card

    Wouldn't think I'd be excited about paying double for eggs since the last time I bought them. I am though. I just checked one more store's specials and they're running a $2.04/dozen ad this week with no limits. I'll be stocking up and freezing no doubt…..even though eggs "should be" around $1/dozen. Y'all hang tough. We'll get through this.

    I just paid $4.21 at Aldi yesterday. I about stroked. I buy eggs for my husband. They do not teach kids cursive or as my daughter says how to adult. They do not know how to write a check and pay their bills or fill out a loan application.
