  1. Yes you need a comfortable rocker to rock the baby to sleep you need a pillow to prop under your arm. Also start a suitcase for yourself and baby for hospital. I was 2 weeks early so having a packed suitcase ready to just grab is a good thing. Make a list of things to do or things to include because when the time comes you lose all your brains and it will just help Josh if things are packed and he can just grab and go

  2. I loved those little gowns with the stretchy bottom openings for our babies, especially in the very early weeks while they are still so scrunchy while they sleep!

  3. Rectal thermometer is preferred way to take their temp as a baby until 2 yo. They are the most accurate readings. My Peds RN friends all say it.
Also Babyfrida gas reliever tool is helpful. They’re learning how to use their new GI system so they get very gassy.

  4. Love your choice for bassinet!
Looks like you have everything you need and alot of basics. If there's anything you miss Josh or Grandparents can run get. So relax . Enjoy. Waiting for the official you tube announcement as you look like you're already in labor in this video. Did you get to eat the pie?

  5. BECKY, you're looking fantastic today! Great sweater. You're looking healthy and hale! I love your pie crust and filling idea! I've been afraid to make pie crust because I mill my own flour and soft wheat (the best kind for pastry) has been harder to get at decent prices, so I KNOW I'm going to have to use my hard wheat for the crust. I'm being a little chicken about it, but I think I'm just going to go for it. You're awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  6. So excited for you & Josh. I wish you a beautiful safe birth experience. Can't wait to meet your baby. God Bless. Oh, and yes get yourself a rocker. You will lover the comfort in the middle of the night. A tip on clipping your baby's finger nails, ( you'll be surprised on how long they can be) do it when he/she is sleeping.

  7. I am sure by now you are so very thankful for all of the burb cloths. 😀 Congratulations on the birth of your son. So excited for you, Josh, Orbit, Tibro, and all the chickadees.

  8. I'd recommend a wide neck bottle with a newborn anti-colic nipple to prevent baby from getting an upset stomach from sucking too much air.

  9. I've never known anyone else to mention this baby room item, so maybe I'm the only person who found it useful. A clock that would be visible in the dark or dim light of night time feedings. I always felt like I was up for ages every time I went to baby in the night, and it helped keep me from feeling overwhelmed if I knew how much time it really was.

  10. Some babies need Dreft laundry detergent. My youngest brother did. His skin was sensitive to regular detergent.

  11. We loved our glider so much! We used it for years! Then we moved it to the living area when my son was 4 and still use it! Definitely a good purchase for us! Congratulations on your baby boy!

  12. The best nose cleaner/sucker you'll get in the hospital is green rubber ones. Yes, definitely get a nice comfy rocker! You will use it often, especially at night when the baby wakes and you wanna change and feed and put him right back in the crib. 🙂

  13. You definitely need to buy a high quality upholstered rocker. It's also helpful to have a couple of standard bed pillows for extra support while feeding and rocking baby. 💯❣️congrats! 🥳

  14. Prayers for Becky she has some health complications after the birth or her baby boy 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  15. The frozen apple pie filling is a great idea! From the looks of all the comments, you had your baby and apparently it’s a boy. Congratulations!

  16. Omg Becky…..when you described your crib dressing as a "lasagne style" I just about peed myself laughing!! Even THAT is food related! Lol!
I spent 20 years ( postpartum RN) changing diapers….and I can tell you that you're going to LOVE the onesie sacks with the elastic on the bottom!! They are the EASIEST way to change baby and they cover the entire baby ( legs included) while sleeping!!! I know you' ve already delivered…..so I'm sure you know this by now!! Thanks for sharing!!

  17. How exciting to hear the baby has been born! I would definitely recommend the rocker. You spend a lot of time cuddling, feeding, comforting baby and a rocking chair is soothing for both of you..

  18. Not very many people know how to fold fitted sheets. I learned from a lady along time ago. I took care of her handicapped child many years ago. Basically you only need 2 sets of sheets. When one is dirty you got another one to use. Good haul of cute clothes. You will want a rocker/glider. I still have ours for when our chi,do was little. I can't tell you how many nights when children wake up, they eat and you put them right back to bed. You will need One! Nancy from nebraska

  19. Keep dog treats by the front door and when ppl bring baby acre gifts have them give the treats to your dogs first

  20. Thank you for sharing this with us. I'm so happy for you guys. Ya'll got some many cute outfits for the baby.

  21. Both of my babies essentially lived in full and half onsies for the first 3 months. then after they slowly switched to super cure outfits when they could start sitting up
