  1. How do you get rid of ants, we have lots that's killing the plants, we live in Gilchrist County Florida

  2. Do Jamaican cherry acerolas and grumichama trees also do well in the understory of oak trees?

  3. Another great video. Thanks for the inspiration. I cannot grow what you grow but I can and have learned a great deal about having a nursery. Hopefully one day I'll get you a vid of the nursery you inspired..

  4. Some plants want to live: my peppers survived hail and bugs and are still producing, moved inside for the winter. I really thought the bugs would have done them in, but flowers and fruits continued. I actually have 3 green tomatoes still growing, and 3 10" tall baby tomato plants for the next crop. Glad the critters decimated the vegies outdoors, forcing me to pot and grow a few inside with great success. I fooled them by putting my zucchini and cukes in hanging pots with flowers and jalapenos. Grow on Pete!

  5. Any chance you can recommend the weed barrier you use? I have been trying a bunch and the best so far has been Dewitt pro 5 but I wish I would find a heavier duty. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Btw, I have bought all of my bigger Jabo’s from you. Can’t wait to see some new varieties so I can add to my collection!

  6. Pete, I just planted my one and only Jabo in full morning and midday sun, but afternoon shade, here in Los Angeles. I hope it doesn't get fried in the summer time!

  7. do you recommend grafting jaboticabas in order to get them to fruit earlier? im in new zealand and some people havnt had fruit for 17 to 20 years from there seedlings, great video by the way <3

  8. Nice ! Probably the near perfect climate there for Jaboti's….here out West, in the low interior desert, have never had success beyond a yr or so… Sad, as I think it is a great fruit-providing tree !!

  9. I have Red, Grimal and Sabara. All getting full sun but under my lanai screen and that seems to do them extremely well. Just constantly pushing out new growth and getting that lovely peeling bark
