We built the grill station of our DREAMS! This DIY modern Outdoor Grill Station is the best because IT CLOSES! The outdoor kitchen we had before was amazing, but because it was in the elements 100% of the time with no patio cover over it, let’s just say it was a brutal summer. This one, however, is going to be so perfect!

Looks great. I think incorporating a ramp as an option for hotter grills is certainly something someone can do. I know I would since my grill is larger, with not burners. Ergo more heat.
Love it! Looks great guys👍👍
Why didn’t you do a smokestack out of the top?
You guys know I love your channel, your builds and your videos. Haven't commented in a long time, so I thought I'd drop you one …
I don't have any critiques. I do have that exact same grill though, it's a great choice and you guys will absolutely love it. I love the 3 2 1 baby back ribs and the pulled pork.
One piece of advice is to use multiple layers of foil on that inclined tray. Go to BJs or Costco and you can get the extra wide tin foil.
If that tray gets too greasy, which is easy to do just from anything a little fatty. Point being if you don't clean that, you can get some nasty black smoke especially if you're next use is a high temp cook like steak or burgers.
Using multiple layered sheets of that extra wide tin foil means to clean up, you're just talking off the grate and rolling up that foil to reveal a nice clean sheet underneath.
I'm happy for you both and how far you've come!
nicely done. That project was huge. At first I was thinking a small grill area. Not a tiny house with a grill. This was a three part video in one. I like the overall design and like you mentioned would probably only add an exhaust for the grill. But a lovely outside area.
Love the design and the fact that you can keep the grill out of the elements and also protect yourself on those days where you want to grill but it's raining. Another nice touch might be to use the inside of the left door for additional storage. Funny seeing Leo running around in the background throughout the video too haha!
I love it. For mine, I'll request that you install an inexpensive indoor kitchen vent hood at the ceiling above the grill to have the vent fan, heat protection for the ceiling and the light that would come installed in it. Even a repurposed / repainted one with a few coats of flat black grill paint would be just great! 🙂
Muy lindoooooooo!!!!!
Super cool!
I have been looking for a design like this for a long time. Practical and looks good. It's 28 degrees and getting colder, so I think I will wait for the spring.
Would a chimney for the smoker be a good idea?
Loved this build folks ❤
Awesome project and good for different things. Never cease to amaze people. Great work all around. Versatile yet functional and practical. And best of all diy friendly.
Very clever design and build. My only concern is high winds. I live in and around Houston, Texas and like you we can have high winds during certain times of the year, You have a high profile with a relatively short base making it potentially dangerous in high winds. Just a thought. If you can store it in advance of high winds, you might want to consider that.
As usual another great video. God bless.
That turned out amazing guys, great video as always
I am loving this! Sadly my neighborhood has cycled toward upscale homes and low scale renters and fences, gates and locks don't matter anymore so, having things buttoned up, out of sight out of mind sort of thing is the direction I'm leaning toward. Great build!!! God bless you & yours!
I totally understand the logic of this build. Personally not my thing but who cares. It what best fits your needs.
One comment y'all already mentioned, the smoke. It's all about the long game. I literally finished cleaning the top of our kitchen cabinets, OMG 😖. You will have a crap ton of grease that comes from the fat in the food you cook. You should really reconsider a pipe going through the roof. Good luck 🤞
To move something like this, especially on a nice concrete pad like this, you could invest in a set (4) of machine dollies. I bought 2 pair from Northern Tool that support 4400lbs each to move a 12'x16' work shed. We jacked up the building using a 3 ton low profile car jack laid down 2x6s on the dirt and then put the dollies under some 2×4 cribbing. We were able to move the building with just 3 people 4' East and 5' North in just a few hours. Once we got the area and building prepped, we could have moved the building as far as we wanted to. The hardest part was leveling the 2x6s with support to keep the building from rolling down the natural grade of our suburban yard. The machine dollies made it a breeze to push and pull the building by hand. It would have been harder to steer this little building then it would have been to move it on a set of these.
Interesting project, thanks for sharing this video. Would you consider adding 4-6 heavy duty casters to the bottom allowing repositioning on a concrete surface. Wishing you both a blessed week, gentle weather and restful evenings. Cheers
Very nice good job!
Great video
