Kirstie and Phil are in Wiltshire where their house hunters Vicky and Andy, and Malcolm and Jenny, have some very specific and quite unusual demands for their new homes.

Property professionals like Phil Spencer and Kirsty Allsopp know all the secrets of successful house-hunting: being clear about what you want, aiming high and, above all, being prepared to compromise.
Our experts work to a brief of must-have attributes: number of bedrooms, character property or new build, but the most important aspect is always… Location, Location, Location! From auction houses and estate agencies, to websites and word-of-mouth, they leave no stone unturned in their quest for the best. They then have the unpredictable task of showing the house-hunters around a shortlist of properties that appear to fit the bill. Will they have judged their tastes correctly? Do these people even know what they want?

  1. I’m not ashamed to admit that the best part of any day is when you upload a new video. Thanks!

  2. The patience of this pair is amazing!! I can't say about the UK but in the US its far better to "lease" a business property for a business than it is to own. Business rent is a total write off – a much better tax write off'!!

  3. I would never want a well in my kitchen. Quite an eye sore. Perhaps disguise and build over it as an access, but provide counter tops and cabinetry to create more esthetically pleasing space. Probably one of reasons why it's not selling, not to mention location not good.

  4. Ok the one couple DO NOT NEED anymore kids until they grow up and OMG looking at where they live now my OCD went insane … scary scary geezzz TV cameras coming don’t you think you could of cleaned up a tiny bit 😳😮😳😮

  5. I would never want my business right next to my family home. Who wants business clients you don't know anything about scoping out your business, your house and family?

  6. One thing no one seems to care about with the house the young couple passed on due to planning commission questions: it's on a landing path for a major airport! NOISE? I lived under a flight path years ago, and it was AWFUL.

  7. How selfish to demand they have 4 kids when they obviously can't afford the one they've got now and he doesn't want more than 2. And running two businesses? Just not realistic, but definitely selfish, even to the point of ignoring what her partner wants. Wow.

  8. Phil's couple appears to have hoarding problems. Wonder how they are doing in 2022 – 12 years on??

  9. I'm liking your personality less, and less Kirsty! This happened to me when my wife's sister hauled off and slapped me while drunk. I walked away, but you have no worldly reason to slap slap Phil! 26:41 I'm sure you've been told by others you're bossy, self centered, egotistical, and just don't care what others think. Nor do I for that matter, but I'm a nice guy like Phil, and my personality isn't in tatters like yours. Phil does not deserve to be slapped Kirsty, but if that's how you guys play, get one with it. It's very unprofessional as well, and doesn't fit my idea of a first rate Real Estate agent. 😎✌🎄🎅

  10. I wonder how that very old cottage with the well in the kitchen is heated? Didn't see anything to heat the place, besides the woodstove.

  11. Everybody on this programme is 'desperate' to find another house. Never eager, never in a hurry, never hoping, never longing, wishing or even aching. Always 'desperate.' Which literally means 'without hope.'

  12. Those 'workshops' next door look like an absolute slum, derelict and dangerous. I wouldn't want to go there to do business, still less to go there every day for my job. What a horrible place.

  13. Based on the comments, you'd think Kirstie full-on assaulted Phil in this episode. She barely taps his cheek with the tips of her fingertips – she does NOT 'slap' him (that requires contact of the palm of the hand with the side of the face and the force of the entire arm – not the fingertips from a short distance with no force). It's a playful tap on the cheek, for heaven's sake, after HE teasingly calls her a witch. Some people are way over sensitive and too worried about other people's playful dynamic. They are like brother and sister and tease each other constantly. Don't bring your own issues to it and turn it into a crime scene.

  14. I can see the future if that woman forces her husband into having 2x the children he's comfortable with.
    2x the pressure
    2x the expenses
    Makes his life miserable.
Plays the victim when she's raising 4 kids on her own.
    🤦‍♀️

  15. It’s really uncomfortable watching that woman pressure her husband into having more kids than he wants

  16. How are you going to pay for the 4 kids without the business? It makes no sense to say the kids are the priority… who pays for the 4 kids plus the dip in her business while she is going through labor, breastfeeding, and running after 4 kids????

  17. I'm not surprised to see all the judgmental, unhappy Karens filling up the comment section with gossip and self-righteous judgments about the couples… again. They do it on EVERY Location video that's uploaded. They're incapable of just watching and enjoying the video. And never a word of thanks to the channel for uploading them. They must lead seriously miserable lives.

  18. A sweet thought making a 'feature' of the well, but it ended up looking like a toilet in the floor.

  19. 29:24 My favorite moment is when the guy is looking for confirmation from Phil that it's okay to want a house that "hugs" you and Phil just looks at him incredulously. 😄

  20. I knew this must be an older episode when the couple bought a house in Wiltshire for £220,000 lol…wonder what it would cost now.
