Because of the harsh climate in Yakutia, in most of the rural areas there are no water treatment facilities, and pipes freeze during the long winter, making ice from the lake the main source of drinking water…

Привет Якутам! )))
I would have fallen down like 100 times before I was done. Love your videos keep em coming please! <3
Modern countries we take this for granted
but Antarctica does have running water…
Does the water need further treatment to make it drinkable?
I wonder how much the bar and chain oil of the chainsaw contaminates the drinking water. That would be an interesting thing to see. Would vegetable based oil be healthier?
God bless them all……
This channel keeps me humbled and mindful. It’s one of my favorites! Thank you for sharing!!! Please keep making videos 🙂
i just realized that me who live in Finland live in like around the same latitude, but we have warm water currents, the thing that keeps us as warm as we are and winter only goes to like at max to -35c and then somewhere else, where there is no warm water currents, it gets as cold as there, like Oulu which is Finland's northernmost large city (200,000 people), at latitude 65.00'n the coldest measured temperature is -37c
Please excuse my ignorance. But wouldn't the freshly fallen snow be cleaner than lake water?
🙂
Very informative. Please keep posting these videos.
I wonder if these people would find it crazy that people like me live in a climate of 115 degrees F for 4 months of the year?

why cant you use the snow that is around you?
I am from a part of the world were we don't see snow ever. I respect the amount of hard work. One question though..is it not possible to use the fresh snow for drinking after thoroughly boiling it?
Excelente

Never thought that water would be so hard to get! Opened up a new perspective
I'm missing seeing Kiun B in these videos this year.
I've been complaining a lot about my life lately since all I do is basically study all day everyday including week ends. I really thought my life was hard, but when I see what obstacles people have to face just to be able to do things that I take for granted in other countries, I truly realize that my life isn't that hard and I should be more grateful of it haha
Thank you for your videos, they allow me to see the world in a bigger picture ( if that makes any sense ) and relativize about my small problems !
