Window Kangkong Container Garden Plus The Big Banana
In our latest video Karin heads off for a weeks holiday away with family. Luckily I was able to get here to do a bit of filming for me before she left.
My indoor Kangkong is growing just wonderfully in the recycled bottles supplied with hydroponic nutrient.
I am sure that many of you will be adding this amazing leafy green to your garden this spring too!

What a wonderful healthy lush forest you've created in your kitchen Marty.
Watch out you don't lose the praying mantis amongst it – you'll never be able to find him with his camouflage.
You might mistakenly stir fry him in the process – what'll you tell Karin when she gets back??
Just kiddinggg.
Great video! Really enjoyed watching this and love your lush home garden. Karin hope you have a great time away I know you’ll miss Dad. You both make great videos behind and infront of the camera. Gotta get some of that Kangkong growing myself. X
Wow, what a great looking windowsill full of plants! I like the new direction of the vlogs.Congrats on over 400 videos , that's a lot of hard work! Have a great day!
Awesome video Marty, managed to get Kang Kong after your last video and its doing great, even put it in the chooks yard in a old bath tub for the chooks to feast on. BTW Karin is such a sweetie, she's a nice addition to your videos. Enjoy your week, enjoy your "me time".
Great Video!
Very nice, she is going to have fun. Wow all your plants are looking amazing! 😊
Great video my friend… Sorry I am running behind getting to see it… Hope young Ms Karin has a wonderful safe trip… I am sure you are missing her… Glad to see you keeping busy ! Enjoyed ! Our best as always ! Peace.
Oh your plants look perky and lush! I do believe Karin's praying mantis wants to go with her lol. Friends for life you know 🙂 I imagine it will be different with her being on her trip but I hope you both have a fantastic weekend!👍
Nice video! Do you have any algae problems with nutrition exposed to light?
ilove this vedio newbie
I don't how yours is doing well in water. when I buy kang kong from the store, trim the bottom and put in water, they die. If I just put it in moist soil. I'm a cloner and have cloned pants from restaurants/store cuttings but I don't understand my failures with kang kong. what have I been doing wrong?
Awesome plants Marty. How often do you change the water for the kangkong in the containers?
Great job with the window sills plants
That's amazing. We planted kangkong too few wks ago, we just harvested and cooked. We have a video of it: https://youtu.be/zGgNJFNEoAA
I love how you grow it on containers. Do you change the water or you just keep adding?
Will do this during quarantine
Can I grow Kangkong in an old bath tub?
Enjoy watching your Kangkong growing by the window , thank you and see later
