Normal is relative. What’s normal is different depending on who you are with. What’s normal to one person isn’t to someone else. That’s a really useful thing a teacher once told me. Because when you are neurodivergent or work with ones who are you really get a unique view on “normality”. For us it was normal that if someone didn’t come to class for many days we wouldn’t pester them with questions when they came back. We understood because we had all had bad periods ourselves. Or someone saying their energy was too low so they needed a break. Even if we hadn’t experienced the same we had an understanding of each other’s problems
