We moved 14th of a mile from our old house ,the one cat took to the move just great, the other we kept in the house three days as soon as let him go out he never came back! My husband Got in the truck drove to the old house found him drove him home,.we kept him for a week let him out, gone in60 sec. The next time he fought my husband trying to get out of the truck. He came in all scratched up. Two weeks later he took off. My husband talked to the next door neighbor and she said she would keep him. He loved his territory only.😣😢😭
Good Morning from Iowa! You guys are making your home so nice! All the organizational things are pretty and functional. Hope your also enjoying the Christmas season.
Was it a ticket or a fix it ticket?
Definitely in the middle for your shelf
That box is none of your business…until December 25th…lol
I dislike know-it-all people….And when you have a good day it makes me feel good also….I wish I was still at the Mount Washington Hotel so I could swing by and say hi……chefjack…..
Will you be putting in a stove exhaust fan? It looks so empty there.
Everything is coming together ❤️
The box contains ________?
Looking good!
Al where's your new toy the one you got when the girls got the cats
Love the cabinets over the washer and dryer. HINT: Space above is perfect height to store 6-packs of toilet paper and/or paper towels. I understand you’re putting a full-width shelf under the cabinets. Might want to consider a narrow 3-drawer cabinet the height of the washer to fill gap in corner for towels & wash cloths, etc. Other suggestion: Learned from experience to paper vinyl, washable shelf mat on bottom shelf of cabinets. Makes it very easy to clean up spilled bleach, laundry detergent, and liquid fabric softener.
👏🏻👋👍😊🙂🙋♂️😁
I was taught by Grandma to put things away right away. That has helped a lot over the years. Now my Son and his family have moved in with me. I have to teach the same things over again. thanks. God bless.
Be very careful when you press down on vegie cutters; you are using your belly muscles. Just a thought from an old bricklayer. Cabinets over the laundry look nice: I kept hoping the washer door would open all the way. Did it? Greg.
Great progress yet again! Well done!! A thought… Since the cabinets above the W & D are so high up, ready access to the upper shelves may be an ongoing challenge. Perhaps consider leaving the space beside the washer and the wall as a storage garage for your small folding step ladder – and anything else similarly utilitarian, like brooms and mops? Why? Being able to pull out the folding step ladder at a moment's notice to give ready access to the upper cabinet shelves will have definite value. Otherwise, a set of shelves there at the end, between the appliances and the wall for storage of laundry supplies would keep them low enough to be within ready reach without Gina having to stretch up to the higher cabinet.
Hi from Jamaica. I am so happy for you guys. You deserve all the success and happiness; you earned it. So proud of you.
If you were to put a shelf for holding the soap on the left side of the washer, then underneath you could use for the step stool Gina will need to get stuff off the top shelf of the cupboards.
Looking great.
al THANK YOU FOR BLESSING YOUR FOOD it means so much for us. the freedom to pray, thats why we don't like watching tv so much.god bless yall happy holidays
Good Saturday afternoon New Yolk🥚City …. hope you guys are having a nice weekend👍🏻 Take care AL, Gina & Olivia 🐕🐩❄
It is Al's new labeling machine. 😅🤣😂🤐
Al
The space above the cabinet can be a new hiding place for Christmas gifts so Gina can't find
Very Nice, Seson Greetings from Sweden!
PS: Wow guys… you even give Subaru maintenance tips!! Talk about ONE STOP viewing. 🤣
Things progress well – just a thought – why do you cut out the audio when giving thanks?
Hey Gina, it's your Christmas present lol
Ok great now lets go see the animals please
I know what's in the box!! It's a sorry can't tell .But you will love it
🤣🤣🤣
Hello Al and Gina, your place is looking awesome, I love it!🙂
Doing well! Did you sell your other homestead?
I'd be very tempted to separate the washer and dryer to put a shorter pull-out "spice rack" style cabinet unit between them. That way you'll have easy access to your laundry supplies AND if the cabinet comes up to the bottom of those uppers, it will hide the hose fittings for the washer.
.
Al, I'm a little surprised you didn't replace the tail/brake lamps in the Subaru with LED's. I did that in my wife's van several years ago and haven't had a single issue since (after needing to replace at LEAST one every year and a half). The tail lamp portion burns out faster because that filament is lit more often than the brake lamps.
Wow your home is looking amazing Gina your food always looks delicious stay warm and safe outthere God keep on blessing you always Rosa
you need to get a medal carport for the car and truck
I would leave the space open on the left. It leaves you options for a roll out cart, your step stool and drying rack or the place to have a wall drying rack.
Congratulations. It’s all coming together and glad to see videos ending with the family meal again.
How about split machines and have and open shelf on wheels so it can easily be rolled away to use a step ladder to access upper cabinets and maybe velcro a curtain cover for a pop of color
Hi I think it’s great seeing how far you have come with your build. Love watching you settle in as a family into your new home. Gina what a breath of fresh air watching you do your cooking segment at the end of the videos and seeing you sit down for tea together. I did not realise how much I missed it. Good luck to you all and keep on enjoying your new home. 😊❤️👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Gina, I’m interested to know what brand of slippers you have on the floor in the grow room. Thank you!
Watching from Ontario
like the video. the cabinets look nice. and got the brake lights fix. the animals is happy. be bless and love. SAVANNAH TN.
Gina, be careful with those suction cup cat perches. Changes in temperature can cause the cups to release. Especially if Figaro has to jump up to it. And once it falls one time, he will never trust it again. The window perch is a great idea, but honestly, I would recommend a more solid connection to the wall on either side of the window. Speaking from experience. 🙂
Al you remind me of “Tim The Tool-man Taylor”. You have everything in the way of tools.
Thanks Al for speaking clearly! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Appears "baby talk" is important.
It would be nice for you to have a library ladder for your high shelves.
Q: What is inside the box?
A: Another box!
Are you screwing into the studs when mounting those cabinets? I don’t get how you can mount them like that on drywall?
Great job on your cupboards ❤
Do you post the recipes anywhere? This one looked really good!
