  1. What is mind blowing is that this film shows how drastically different every culture and every person within a culture lives from day to day. It is one thing to say you have understanding and it is completely different to see it on video and to experience it first hand. I watched it when it first came out a decade or more ago and again today and it is just as impressive today as it was then. I must ask the question of how have these people changed since?

  2. I remember watching this 11 years ago and saying how it inspired me and made me want to do something with my life. Here I am 11 years later with nothing accomplished. Don't waste your life it goes by faster than you think.

  3. This movie has meant so much to me, and has always stuck with me. I first watched it when I was 13. Such a beautiful movie. Its one of many things that has given me strength to do what I want in my life.

  4. In my opinion is this the best film/documentary for/of? Human Life. I would prefer to show this movie to all young people's in the world in school's, to teach them emphatically understanding of different Emotion's and Life Case's.

  5. I just graduated from the middle school at that time, was having a really great summer vacation with the best wishes in high school.

  6. Another year, another rewatch, and another bunch of tears shed. Thank you life in a day, for making me feel so human and connected in the times when it's hard to.

  7. By far my favorite documentary of all time my favorite part is the women preparing food singing in Swahili. See you on the 25th of July 2030 ❤️🙂

  8. 我來自台灣,十年之間看了五次以上了,每次都深深感受到那個難以言喻的情緒,謝謝導演,謝謝這個世界

  9. 51:37 beautiful how she choose the most unique and random answer to the question on what she loves.. oddly inspiring.

  10. I wish I could express why I find this film revolting. I know it has something to do with the fact that it contains a bunch of manufactured snippets from the lives of people who seem a little too self obsessed for my taste, but at the same time it’s so much more than that. I’m utterly repulsed.
