  1. Is it not worth raising the level of soil in the beds? Looks like there’s lots more room too and that will give more space for the root system

  2. i don't think plants will ever grow themselves out of balance , plants will always have enough roots below ground to support the shoots above ground , i would guess it's a humidity problem , when temps get high humidity gets low , add warm winds & the plant can't keep up with transpiration at it's extremities where humidity would be at it's lowest , imo cutting off branches is taking away the plants protection against those warm winds & low humidity on a hot day , the canopy can create it's own humidity via transpiration & those leaves can trap that moisture under the canopy as well as trapping the evaporation coming off the soil surface , temps & humidity relates to something known as VPD Vapor Pressure Deficit which commercial greenhouse growers use because it has a direct relationship to a plants metabolism , it's important for plants because it controls stomatal opening, transpiration rate, CO2 uptake, nutrient uptake, and plant stress. It also directly impacts yields in a greenhouse environment where you have the ability to control temps & humidity , of cause these plants aren't in a greenhouse , outdoors environmental factors are what they are so extreme heat days are probably not the best days to be pruning , pruning on warm days are definately better than cold days though

  3. The tomato 3 points of the compass growing theory. North, North East, & North West growing branches. I've just about given up on the tomatoes this year, have been smashed with bloody septoria, & seems to be another couple of diseases hitting them also. I have never had to worry about septoria before.

  4. A slightly different question….I can see in your video you have circle frames supporting your tomatoes. I definitely need some of them. Not just for my tomatoes, but for my Salvia as they snap off so easily in the wind. Do you sell those? And rough price?
