  1. You are a truly talented lady. Beautifully chosen phrase. A lovely gift to your church community and the world at large. Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄✨

  2. Want to echo the many comments regarding your using your God-given abilities for His purposes and glory. May HE alone be glorified through your efforts as we focus on the birth of Christ. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, but more importantly the One already designated to be the final sacrifice on the Cross for our sins. THANK YOU for sharing this part of your lives – the critical foundational part – as all else, though part of His creation …beautiful, educational and enjoyable is temporal! SO….what about a glorious display celebrating Easter as well! (And I love the fact that the church left the Gothic window frame designs up! So many of the newer auditorium styled churches lack the hand-crafted beauty and warmth of older ones…the windows softened and gave focus to your church's pulpit area….and makes all that work even more worth it!)

  3. What a Light you are to your local community and to all of us! Merry Christmas 🎄🌟❤️

  4. I echo all the praise from other posters in saying just how beautifully this well-planned display turned out. Absolutely gorgeous.
Don't take this as a criticism but maybe an opportunity to make a quick adjustment, but just FYI the exclamation point is upside down. LOL 😆 Love all that you do, Laura. Wishing you all the blessings of a joyful Christmas to you and yours. 🙏

  5. I’m not religious but am an artist, and the entire process was impressive and MAGICAL!! Unlike others here, I’m not surprised at all with your carpentry skills. 😁 When one is creative, those abilities and vision (and tools!) translate to many media. If you ever do want to use plywood or MDF, you need to find a buddy with access to a laser cutter! Boy howdee, would that be a fun new tool for you to try! The plaster on top of the foam core is a freaking brilliant idea, and love the highlights of leaving the sides of the letters white. (Am I the only one who wondered if the stem of the exclamation point is upside down? 🤔) KUDOS to you for an amazing result, and such a fun project!! ❤

  6. Wonderful job (as always) – just wanted to check, though. Is the top part of your exclaimation mark upside-down (or is it just me?). Blessings of the season to you all, and may you have a wonderful Christmas 😊

  7. You are one bada$$ woman!! I love how inspirational you are to all us women. You show us we can do anything we set our mind too. I also love how Aaron embraces your self sufficient nature. Great team you surround yourself with.

  8. Oh those church projects! I have many cherished memories of my friends and I taking on projects (we made tons of costumes for the Christmas pageants)! You will have great memories of these projects & my daughter remembers every one❤🥰❤️

  9. What an inspirational phrase. This will be my concentration this year. It amazes me how one phrase in an hymnal can make such a impact.

  10. I absolutely agree with all the comments but I couldn't stop staring at the upside-down exclamation point!

  11. You were on another "roll" with this one and for such a beautiful purpose! (Is the exclamation mark upside down?). Love how you figured it all out, made cuts in the script where necessary with that jigsaw, of which you are now the master. (If I'd been there I'd be begging you to let me put gold glitter on the letters but that would have been tacky! LOL). Excellent choice with the midnight blue velvet. Will baby Jesus be laid in the manger on Christmas Eve? Oh, you sure whipped out that manger lickity split! And the greenery for the large containers just adds more ambience and life to the scene. It is so enjoyable watching you create and decorate but this project is special…and in keeping with being in the church – not a distraction – just bringing that special ambiance for such a special celebration!

  12. Fantastic job Laura!!! You always manage to impress me more and more with what you're capable of! Beyond how beautiful it is, it is also beautiful that you were willing to invest your time and labor and money into creating this for everyone to enjoy! God bless! & Merry Christmas!

  13. So beautiful Laura!! I know your community just loves you and your family. You inspire me with every video!!!

  14. Beautiful!
Maybe try a few different lights to get the effect of the crib glowing.
It would be an incredible effect if it had a violet or warm golden glow coming from it.
The midnight velvet, is that Joanns Fabrics? It's a gorgeous shade with the sheen!
    🌞🙏😇
