This is our 2015 organic gooseberry bush. I started video documenting in mid April after a long Chicago winter. We harvested the berries during the last week of June.

  1. Thank you for sharing your gooseberry journey from spring pruning through harvest.  I bought a house in March 2016  on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state that has 5 mature red gooseberry bushes and didn't know what to do with them.  I am just harvesting now, July 13, 2016,  as we have had a very mild summer.  I'll have my first gooseberry cobbler today.

  2. Great video thanks! I really appreciate the compilation, it's helpful in understanding how it grows and appearance.

  3. Hi, my name is Gerry,
I was wondering if you have your gooseberry plant still and if you share cuttings or seeds from fruits?
    Great video by the way.

  4. Where are you? Gooseberries grow in cold climates naturally. I'm from Iowa and grew up eating thousands
