I wish I had a basement for my Xmas storage I have about 30 totes in my new enclosed patio and no room in my dinged car garage which is filled with stuff.
When organizing my studio, I started counting my baskets and stopped counting at 200. Now I am thinning that collection!
Clothes mainly for my little grandson, linens and books books books! Thanks for the inspiration!
That’s the cleanest/neatest basement I’ve ever seen!
"Living with" the items in my cart. YES, YES, YES!! I do that, also! Too many times, I'd purchase items only to regret a few hours later, or conversely, regret not having purchased something that's no longer available. So now I've learned to own it while shopping. And you're right, most times I'll reshelve with no regrets. Also, let me say that most of my inspirations come from you! Bookmarks, saved videos, screenshots, etc. All Vater, all day. 😉
That cabinet had all your containers for Christmas gifts, it appears! No thrift store needed:)
Great tips 👍🏻
Yes-I did enjoy the thrifting video! I'm in the process of getting rid of a lot of things in my houses by donating. I have too much of everything, but do want to keep things like vases, etc. I actually do use for myself or for gifts.
I was in a shop the other day that was brimming with tchotchkes, and on one of the shelves was a book on de-cluttering. I do not think that is going to help increase their tchotchke sales! Kind of like shooting yourself in the foot… I actually did put something back that I was considering…
Thank you for making thrifting and consignment shopping a popular thing to do. Years ago most people thought that they had to buy brand new or you were considered poor and destitute! But, the modern way of thinking is to save the earth by reusing and renewing. ( why let something go to to a landfill when someone else may love it for a while) and you make used look so new the way you match things up. I'm 70 years old and search my closet and thrift shops to match your style! ( and I think it makes me look younger LOL) thanks again, Love your program.
Inherently beautiful (to me anyway) and my go to for low these many, many years are baskets and pottery. Probably 40 years for the pottery and baskets almost as long. Can't be beat. And, every year I add to my snowman collection, which is kind of low because I cleaned out last year and what is left needs some friends. All of these items are thrifted. BTW, vintage pottery is getting harder to find. :>( Salvation Army is my donation place of choice.
Making me feel much better!
I’m right there!! Especially when I go to Tj MAX I THINK ABOUT IT THEN ASK MYSELF DO I REALLY NEED OR WANT THIS!!! Thanks Linda👍
Goodness your goodwill is great. Love everything. Thanks to you and Stewart.
Hahaha…. My mom taught me how to shop as you do. Spy out the uncommon colors, textures and patterns. Carry them in the cart until you’re ready to check out and them weed out what you don’t really need or want. Most often though I keep everything. 😂 It’s so fun to thrift hunting! You never know what you’ll bring home. And the items tend to be more cherished than the new store items we buy. LOL Great video! Thanks Linda & Stewart!
I love the tiered tray in your window!! I have shown my granddaughter your thrifting videos and she loves your fashions style, so now when you put out a thrift video I share it with her. She completely enjoys them!!! Me too!!❤️😂
I loved the dress you had yesterday.
Baskets, candles, fabrics, rugs, ethnic wonders, coffee table books, prints and paintings, art pottery, ironstone, hammered copper and anything ababaster. Did I mention baskets?
Wow 😍 clean storage room 🎄🎄❄️lovely vid
Yes I did! You tiny tiny lady! Size 4!
I have a closet full of size 4, and I keep trying to get back to that! 😌
You must be vegan! That's the only thing I haven't tried!
Happy birthday Linda🎉🎊🎂Thanks for sharing your Garden Lifestyle with us.

Love love love your Thrifting videos. I love finding treasures. You picked up done great finds. So much inspiration. The glass inside the silver I will definitely do that this year. I collect lots of silver but I don’t have glass liners which can then be refrigerated afterwards. Easy cleanup.
Thanks for sharing behind your doors! I feel less stressed about what’s behind my doors now. I’m addicted to baskets, McCoy vases, candlesticks, and vintage picture frames with rich patinas, and classic carved wooden figures. I collect unique vases to give flowers to friends in the summer.
