Never ever did I a torture an innocent tree in my life that way.
The best way to keep your tree from dropping needles and making a mess is very simple:
1) re-cut the bottom and immediately submerged the cut in water. Do not rest the tree on the cut until mounted to prevent crushing the delicate cellular walls.
2) add an air stone in the water reservoir to keep the water from going anaerobic. Basically hydroponics without the nutes.
3) don't let the tree dry out.
That's it, your tree should stay green for 2+ months
We use to drill a hole up the center of the tree trunk and put cotton in the hole. Because I like having a tree in my home I leave a tree up way too long so I converted to artificial. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄💚🙃
Are you wearing lipstick?🤔😊
