It’s collaboration time again and today I ask some favourite YouTube friends what they would choose for their garden if money wasn’t an issue. Take a look and see if you agree!
Thank you so much to those who took the time to take part – do go and visit their channels over here:

  1. I would have an expert come and go over my plot and show me how and what of everything esp the part of what I am doing wrong 😃

  2. Now that was interesting, from a polycrub to the life of a hoe, I was intrigued, even to know that woodchip is still a issue to source for some. Thank you Jane,a great collaboration.
I started out thinking, flight tickets for a number of the great YouTube gardeners over here to help me sort out my mess of a allotment, you could lead the possy, and bring Mike, but then saw that pollycrub, so got me thinking. So finally, to buy our dream home down further in the country,so could have a place in our big garden to grow our own, have chickens, have a tunnel, world would be our oyster. Thank you for letting me dream.

  3. I’d “buy” a couple of young, handsome, fit gardeners and have them do it all for me then I could just sit and watch them and maybe I’d join in whenever I got the urge – hee hee 🤣 – in reality I’d probably just change to having all raised beds and upgrade my greenhouse and I’d add solar generated electricity to both the greenhouse and my “little she shed” happy dreaming everyone x

  4. Hi Jane, brilliant video 🙂 i must admit, i have never seen a polycrub before & would love one of those for christmas. I fot my polytunnel Oct 21 & the birds had a field day on the roof, holes all over the place 🙄 looking foward to seeing what you do with your shed area. Thanks for sharing and take care 🙂

  5. If money was no object I would have time.
time to build my temporary poly crub.
time to build a new shed / deck area which is probably similar to what you are thinking.
I do engineering drawings for a living so the offer of help is there.

  6. I would live to be able to use a hose on my allotment, instead of having to carry hundreds of cans around. A nice big tunnel and a comfy seating area would be amazing too

  7. great video Jane! seems as if a few want a poly crub then!
I love some of the other comments from others really good and funny!
ai would say 2 poly tunnels similar to Roo for one to protect all from most critters of outside grown produce! Another poly so I could grow grapes but then a brewing garden room for all my liqueurs, cider and wine making!
Although a gardener would be great to get our garden and orchard back under control or money so I would have the time to garden without work getting in the way!

  8. How exciting for your upcoming new shed build! Due to my aging factor, I would love 2 ft high raised beds and generous supplies of garden soil, well rotted manure and leaf mould. (city girl here). Hope you enjoy this holiday season!

  9. Ooh yes a polycrub, lots and lots of free compost (and someone to help move it!) Happy Christmas dreaming of Spring already!

  10. Great video and thanks to everyone who contributed, many of your ideas I would also love. This might be sad but what I would really love is to have my amazing hubby back to what he used to be. He was my go to for jobs on the plot, he would turn his hand to anything, I did the gardening side and he did all the other jobs like building two sheds, 14 raised beds, laid paving flags, built fences, he made our plot what it is. I still have lots of new ideas that I would love, like the wood burner Danny has installed, but sadly hubby has dementia and can no longer do these jobs, so although I know I can't turn back time, it would be my dearest most special wish to be able to turn back time and have my amazing hubby back.( Of course I still love and appreciate him even though life can be difficult, I wouldn't swap him)

  11. I'm with Jim. Our summers are brutal and sometimes watering by hand twice a day is needed. If Santa can bring along his helpers, I'd love them to move our portable building from the side yard to the backyard and add a greenhouse addition to one side. Am I asking for too much? I've been a good girl this year, I promise! Jane, it will be exciting to watch your dream come true in your videos next year! Merry Christmas!

  12. Thanks for inviting me on your channel Jane….was so interesting to see how a lot of us gardeners think so similarly, and have the same things on our wish list…….still dreaming of that beautiful shed!😍😁💪🏼

  13. Fantastic Jane it was fun and just shows everyone has a better concept of what the perfect garden is but we all agree we love our gardens. Have a fantastic week both of you keep warm 🐝 safe

  14. Hi Jane
    What a great video.
My one thing that I would like is 1/2 an acre of land that is mine.
I love my allotment but things we do on it are never ours, they will be someone else's one day.
    Take care.
    👍👍👍👍👍

  15. Very interesting. If money was no object, I would love a polycrub with electricity. I would love the ability to grow with winter raging outside it.
