1:40, not the food, fertilizers only give extra nutrients, all the plants food or sugars are made from water that's been converted by sun in chloroplasts.

All I can say that this is a great video as it contains very informative details. Planning and preparing your site, as well as feeding the soil extra nutrients, will go a long way in helping your garden to be productive. But if you are very eager and very diligent, you can apparently achieve it.
