On this episode of Deer Season ’22, we’re kicking things off by joining Taylor Drury for an extremely special 5 day adventure. First up is the snow covered mountains of Utah where Taylor is trying to get it done with husband Austin by her side on a giant mule deer. 1200 miles later she finds herself in Missouri for the annual rifle camp with Mark and co. where yet another memory is made. 5 days of hunting, 2 bucks down, all at 4.5 months pregnant!     Okay. Let's not be impressed too much by this at 4.5 months preggers. My Mom, rest her soul, went to work the same day she had our youngest sister, her 8th child. Her boss told her to go to her Doctor and her Doctor told her to get her ass to the hospital. ite woody

    Getting stuck isn't fun when it happens. But you have a good story to tell baby girl when she is older. Had a friend shoot a deer while pregnant, 2 days after she shot it had baby.

    I've been watching Drurys for over 20 years. They've always been my absolute favorite hunters to watch. But the older I get, the less I enjoy watching. It's become so unrealistic. Here in South west Ohio, it's near impossible to find a place to hunt. This is my 2nd year in a row of not hunting. This is the first year in 35 years that my dad hasn't hunted. He's so depressed about it. Greedy farmers/landowners have completely ruined hunting in my area. So watching rich people that will never understand the struggles of real world hunters is becoming less enjoyable for me. Taylor will never know what it's like to be told no, you can't hunt. Don't get me wrong, I love and support the Drurys more than any professional hunters, but being denied the opportunity to hunt year after year has unfortunately put a sour taste in my mouth for the whole hunting industry 😔
