We built a garden arch for less than 50 euros (Under 50 dollars) using fence posts string and mimosa trees that grow on our homestead.
Full instructions with a drawing included.
You could use willow or another flexible and strong plant to make the arches.
We planted passion fruit and kiwis to grow over the archway to create a shaded walkway.
In 2021, we bought an abandoned farm in Portugal and have been restoring the land to transform it into a great big edible garden.

Hi, just remember that passion fruit likes dry feet and helps to plant them in a flower pot with the bottom of pot removed. Chinese Gooseberries or what we call Kiwi fruit here in NZ, needs a lot of tending, but the height of your arches looks good. Keep it up mate, you’ll get there, it’s just the first 20 years are the hardest! Cheers mate. Harera
