Hello! My name is Bethany and I grow things in my rooftop container garden in Chicago, zone 6a. I am by no means an expert, just someone who enjoys sharing my garden journey.

In today’s video, I’m planting bulbs in my new raised beds on the back deck. Let me know in the comments if you’ve ever planted bulbs that might be moldy and how they did.

  1. Very nice vlog… can't wait to see your tulips 🌷⚘🌷⚘🌷
    Greetings from Holland 🇱🇺

  2. I know I can't do anything now, until spring, because everything is frozen, but can bulbs survive a freezing winter, in containers? (I am in Minnesota) I would assume they would not make it through the winter even if I actually did everything correctly!

  3. Lovely vlog , I never usually have to water in any spring bulbs unless it's a tree or shrub . The autumn/ winter rain fall is usually enough for them. Looking forward to seeing those raised beds in the spring 😊🌷

  4. Good luck, I think you are right about the tulips. Love your balcony view it’s gonna look really nice once those bulbs bloom.
