I filmed a podcast with Matt and Tim while we were visiting. Check it out, if you have the time. Thanks for watching!

Gorgeous tree. I am in 5b borderline 6a Central IL south of Chicago. Love to get one. Nice vid Jim TY
I ordered one on Sunday from Mr. Maple and I can’t wait to get it. Great video and glad you guys where able to get together again.
I have one of these that I put into a 5 gallon container here in Dallas. I'll see just how much sun it can take first before I put it in the ground.
I have 3 of these beautiful and strong trees. I live on the Carolina coast where it’s the hottest and sunniest and my trees do not seem to be bothered. They do grow fast to. And the colors are incredible.
Beautiful tree and heat tolerance is amazing.
I believe I bought a golden ogon japanese zelkova from these folks over 5 years ago. Its a slow grower but nice color. It's a blonde green foliage in spring to gold in summer.. thanks for the rare product!
I need to get my hands on one of these beauties ❤
I LOVE that spring lemon leaf color etched in red! Autumn color is a double bonus! 👍
Everytime I hear Matt and Tim talk about Hot Blonde they highlight how vigorous it is. At this point I'm kinda like, "Should I be worried?!". How big is this thing gonna get?! 😳 The biggest JMs in my neighborhood are 30 foot red uprights. Do you think Hot Blonde will get larger?
🙋
Definitely one of my top 5 JM 💛
Just had a day full of exams and here you are to provide relaxing and instructive content! Thank you!
Down here in zone 8b on the Gulf coast, we get very little fall color. I'm wondering if Japanese maples get the same intense colors as those grown in cooler climates?
Sounds like a perfect tree for Texas. Gorgeous!
I’ll be searching for this one in my zone 5 Canada 😊
I want one!!
In my wildest dreams….one of these will work in 9a central Florida!…. ?
That tree is beautiful 😍. Thank you both for sharing.
I would love to have one in my yard! How do we purchase them? What soil conditions can it thrive in? Zone 8a. Rocky/clay soil is what I currently have. Amending all the time!
Nice tree!!
LOVE seeing the Fall color and the 5 year size!
Thanks for asking point blank to go thru the colors of EACH season!
I watch Mr. Maple vids all the time, I'm also a customer!
And LOVE to see each maple!
But I do get a bit frustrated with each of those details being left out quite frequently, they often times only tell the colors of one or two seasons.
So it was nice to hear the COMPLETE answer.
Thanks!
This is really a beautiful species! Thank you for the video. I'm going to get one.
They are out of stock at Mr Maple…
As it is a quick growing tree does this mean that it will grow too big for a small garden. Love the tree and the video. Many thanks 😊
To bad they've been sold out for months now
I would love to have one! So gorgeous 🍁
Foliage burns here on the east coast of Australia without protection. And doesn’t colour well in autumn because we’re not cold enough for long enough. Regardless I planted Acer palmatum in my front garden on the south west side with bamboo beside it the other side of the fence. It’s as sheltered a position as I can give it.
I moved to z 5b recently andi love coral bark maples, but theyre not really hardy here. If I wrap it in incadascent christmas lights througout the winter would it survive my winters? Same thing with southern magnolia and stewartia japonica.
