    Believe it or not in really really hot climates whether your house is in the shade or not your AC is going to tun non stop. I live in Dallas in a forest and it runs all day and night.

    By the way, I would love to see a video that gets up close and personal with the soil, using microscopic images of soil life, soil structure, soil particles like clay/silt/sand, coco fiber under a microscope, lava/pumice under a microscope, etc, with an explanation of what you are seeing and why it is important. I watched a video exploring soil drainage by putting different types of soil between plates of glass and applying water and seeing what happens. VERY informative and even surprising in a couple ways. The youtube video is titled "water movement in the soil".

    Anyway, I think aspiring gardeners could benefit greatly from a fundamental understanding of the properties of soil and the processes going on within it and having a visual representation has helped me immensely in furthering my success with gardening.

    Jake, I love your videos, I am curious about the spacing you gave the Moranga, it looks like it is only a couple of feet from your house. The Moranga's can get very big over time from what I have seen in photos, would there be potential for root problems being that close to your house did you put any root barriers next to your house. Thank you for all your awesome videos, my kids are a #TheDiamondMinecart fan and I am a #VeganAthlete Fan.

    How messy are these trees? I need a larger, fast growing tree to provide shade for a Japanese maple that was planted in memory of my son who passed. That tree gets fried every summer. But I don't want to plant something that is going to constantly be dropping crap all over the place.

    Hey Jake, the Moringa behind you has at least 3 big branches coming out of the main trunk did you cut the top of the tree early on, to invigorate the lower branches or did it happen naturally?  mine always makes one big trunk that grows very high.

    I planted 3 moringa trees in Iowa. They are over 6 feet tall. I'm going to chop them down and mulch over the stump of 1 of them to see if the root will survive the winter

    Jake, you planted in January? I guess you don’t have freezes? Do you ever have freezes and what do you do, prune back?
