All right, have I got a good one for you today folks. Top to bottom, start to finish, before and after, I do the lot on this one. In all honestly, I probably moved over 2 tones out of this one (there were so many bricks). Believe it or not, this one was reasonably fun to do, albeit very hard. I get a great sense of accomplishment when I make something look nice again, and I know for sure the owner was truly thankful.

FAQ’s:

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.

Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.

Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.

Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!

Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!

Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.

Q: Why don’t you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!

Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I’m not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!

Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I’m not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!

Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.

Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That’s the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

Q: Why dont you have help?
A: Ive had a lot of problems with employees in the past, so I now work alone.

Q: Why dont you have a ride-on mower?
A: Weel there are a few reasons.

1. Currently, I don’t do enough jobs like his to justify spending 15k on a good ride on mower.
2. I don’t have anywhere to store it.
3. A lot of the properties we do have fences and gates, so you can’t actually get a ride on in there.
4. I don’t have the right trailer for a ride on, considering we always take the green waste away.
5. I will get one as soon as all of the above are solved!

Restoration, Transformation, Garden, DIY.

  5. at least 3 loads to the dump… that has got to be a record for such a small backyard… great job.

  6. You did a excellent job, George! The area looks so much better! I would have used some of the large pallet wood to repair the fence and give her the privacy back again. But, that’s just me.😊
As always, love your musical selections!

  7. Thanks! Most AWESOME yard transformation ever!! And best channel ever! I always love watching your work❤️❤️❤️

  8. What an awesome job! I bet you slept well that night 🙂 Hard work but you do it so well. I know you gave that poor woman some joy back in her property. I'm sure she has been totally frustrated at not being able to do the work herself so I know you brought a smile to her face. You are a blessing to people indeed.

  9. It’s obvious she loves her garden, some things just got away. As you were taking things to the truck, I was thinking, no she can use that in her garden! Lol. I bet she would love the house and garage painted and s new fence for her tranquil space. I can’t believe how much you hauled away, I never would have guessed so much was back there. I love her garden bed surrounded by rocks.

  10. A monumental task, which you accomplished resolving excellently; well done! There was a lot of work to do there, hard work and clearing of debris. It looked so much better afterward.

  11. George, you have to be the king of epic garden cleanups!! How many bricks, pavers and stones did you drag out of there??? How kind of you to help this lady who looks like she was making an effort to garden. You did such a fine job! And the kookaburra!! That’s the first live one I have ever seen and it brought back such wonderful childhood memories of singing, “Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree, merry merry king of the bush is he. Laugh, kookaburra laugh, Gay your life must be.” Thanks from Mississippi for making my day!!

  12. Hi George, I really love that back yard. It looks great and I know she will appreciate being able to get around in it. Top marks – well done!

  13. I know how she feels… she obviously loves gardening but got overwhelmed. She'll feel like a new woman now with her lovely tidy yard! Just hope she's not going to be looking for a stick any time soon hehe. Excellent job
