At last I’m working on my winter containers! Not a stick to be found in this one!

The urn is the Heller House vase from Nichols Bros. : https://nicholsbros.com/heller-house-vase/

  1. Love it. Simple and free. I had a similar folding trellis. I used a large plant saucer upside down at the base as a guide. It made getting the legs in the dirt quick and even.

  2. It’s gorgeous, and you played injured, like a true athlete. 😄 (Hope the fingers heal quickly)

  3. That urn is beautiful and looks as though it was quite an investment. Will it crack in your cold weather?

  4. First of all, what did you do to your finger(s)?!
This arrangement is lovely. Good decision to pull out that bulky Frazier fir. The lights are like the icing on the cake (but I don’t think I’ve ever seen cherry lights – they’re magical). 🎄

  5. Looks wonderful! I only do smaller pots, but if I ever get a big one, I will know where to go for instructions. Have a great holiday season!

  6. Your container arrangement is lovely. Thank you so much for showing that it's ok to rip out and do over. Some of my people around here think I'm nuts for spending time redoing arrangements and should just ram and jam stuff together and tadaaa…done. Nope, not happening!😂

  7. Love it. That is how I do it. Throw it together. If I plan it it never turns out for me like I have it pictured in my head.

  8. Deboning for gardeners love it great idea!.I also use landscape pins to snuggle greens into soil…here in Co we had some huge winds up to 70 mph and I was thrilled pots made it thru mostly except tall dogwood twigs went flying…your pot is beautiful esp lit .

  9. I’m searching for the amazing cherry lights!!!!!! I see your reply about wayfair … bummer Great job as always Erin! Classic

  10. Beautiful, classic, stately! I particularly like the magnolia leaves especially the brown color on their backsides. My fave saying for many things in life is 'less is best'. Thank you, Erin. 🌲

  11. Love seeing your process so easy going and beautiful. Thank you for your authenticity. Wishing you a swift recovery for your hand!

  12. Love the container. Thete is nothing better than winter pots.
Love the lights. Never se4n lights like that. I hope you linked where you got them!

  13. Holy moley Erin… what happened to your left hand? Hope it was nothing serious, and that you are on the mend. As usual, a beautiful winter arrangement in a beautiful urn. Well done.

  14. So elegant, Erin. Have you thought of lining the metal orb with small white lights? It could be your alternative light source (or an addition). Then you could do it once, simply unplug and store for the next Christmas season.
