    The purpose of most regulations is to price independents out of the market.
    A massive corporation can just eat the cost by literally out-earning the fines.

    Honestly, I cannot see how any farmer, or person who eats food, would not see that as pure unmitigated tyranny.
    It’s an aristocrat war on the people to shut down the freedom of food production. It’s a war on workers. It’s a war on the poor. It’s even a war on the poor in other countries. It will be fatal for millions. It’s f***ing genocidal.
    What’s worse than genocide? Because whatever it is, that’s what this is.

    Let’s be real for a second, fertilizer run off and pesticides are a HUGE problem. Idk if starving people and gentrifying things is gonna fix it- but it’s still a problem.

    Of course, all the farms that would be closed by this policy will mean that the Netherlands is just that much more dependent upon foreign imports. I think these myopic businessmen and politicians are going to be in for a rude awakening when they realize they can't simply outsource food production like they have with everything else. You can, via money printing, social benefits, and various financial shell games, create a convincing simulacrum of a robust economy by importing everything and 'producing services' instead. But what you can't do is create food from nothing. No amount of trickery or fraud can conjure even a single loaf of bread into existence, nor convince a starving population that a food shortage is a 'conspiracy theory'. History has shown, repeatedly, that 'unable to provide food' is the one and, apparently, only thing that motivates the masses into action.

    And, you wonder why Bill Gates is the largest private owner of farmland in the USA?! It's not rocket science, it's going on everywhere. The WEF has laid out their plans on their website, but nobody is paying attention, or thinks it's a conspiracy theory.
