  1. I have to definitely learn how to grow herbs. That's on part of my garden that lacks. Eventually I will get there, but it is definitely frustrating. LOL! I okay with chives, Lemon balm, Lemongrass, Basil, Dill and Cilantro. Knowing that I need to get starts for the others is helpful, but I truly want to be able to grow them from seed too. Everything is looking really good! 😊❤

  2. I appreciate you lessons on how to preserve the food from your garden. I specially got a chuckle when you roasted the small harvest. After growing a huge okra plant it only produced one okra.I proudly showed it off to my family but never cooked it. The other day I harvested one red beet which is still on my kitchen counter. I must admit my fall crops are more productive than the summer ones. I also live in zone 9b but in the So Cal Desert. You have given me hope that I can grow vegetables in this hash environment. Thank you

  3. Yea, calendula! It's in very high end skincare to prevent and soften wrinkles. Flowers in general are great for beauty. ❤

  4. I had no idea you could freeze limes! Does it work with lemons? I do preserved lemons, but have never tried freezing them.

  5. I'll be catching up on your skin care videos since I'm growing more calendula 😊 Thanks for sharing your delicious lunch!

  6. Quick ? When you freeze your greens, does it not bust the cell walls so when you unfreeze them they are limp and a messy gob of greens?

  7. I love how you take advantage of everything that you grow in your “desert” garden. It reminds me to be grateful, even for the small harvest. Your worms are lucky, indeed.😊
