Sarah is assigned to watch over her younger brother Sonny and his friend Sam. The two rascals, however, run away to engage in their extracurricular activity of emptying basements and attics under the name “Dumpster Brothers.” And in one of the houses to be cleaned out, they find an old book that will bring the evil ventriloquist puppet Slappy back to life. Along with him, other creatures in town also awaken on Halloween Day, causing Sarah, Sonny, and Sam to have the most adventurous night of their lives.

Warden Cliff is actually in Shoreham Long Island… I actually investigated his laboratory/kodak film building when I was younger before the historical society bought it but I can honestly say I saw the footings for the tower and got a little taste of what his lab looked like for everyone f*** it up LOL
