The secret to a fresh crisp salad is drying the leaves. After harvesting and washing lettuce and herbs, I place them in my salad spinner. If you don’t have a spinner try using a clean tea towel (fancy name for cloth linen towel). Top the lettuce with your favorite fixings and enjoy.
