Every Christmas apart from Edward and his family it had become that the would all gather together for Christmas lunch then William and family go to Catherine’s parents, Charles and Camilla would go to Higgrove to be with Camillas children and Grandchildren, Andrew and the girls back to spend it with Sarah at home. The BIG difference this year will be that it’s the FIRST YEAR Camillas 2 children, spouses and FIVE grandchildren will have the freedom and run of WINDSOR Castle, just imagine the excitement for them now they have access to the Castle,Sandringham , Balmoral, at long last. It will be all the other royals turn to stay home with their own family. ( After this year, that is). Strange. No more mum or dad for Christmas.

Unfortunately, as in almost any family when the "glue" that holds them and traditions together passes, families splinter off to be with their own children and grandchildren and solidify their own traditions. It's the natural order of things. So, of course things will change after the death of Her Majesty.
