► Kiyosumi Garden is my absolute favorite japanese style garden in greater Tokyo area. It centers around a small lake, on which you can walk around from one small “island” to the next, via small bridges, stonepaths, etc. Kiyosumi is near perfect in terms of displaying all the elements used in traditional Japanese garden style; bonsai, water, rocks, wood, bridges and ofcourse, a teahouse – which I’ll show you more of this year compared to last years edition.
Kiyosumi garden is a “must-go” if in Tokyo. If you only visit one garden while in Tokyo, this should be it!
“Kiyosumi” is located approx. 25 minutes from Shinjuku station by Oedo Subway Line, or 5 minutes from Nihonbashi by Hanzomon Subway Line. – Enjoy!
