It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at the cabin! Joe & Parker are settling right in & it does my heart good to see Joe get so much time with him. They're like two peas in a pod! We'll see if Parker's little snare setup catches anything. Oh I can't wait to see his face when it does! Still getting used to the fact that this is real. The vacation isn't ending…Alaska life is everything we remembered it to be. Have ya'll started decorating for Christmas yet?

I’m going crazy. I’ve been waiting forever for this video and it popped up just when my phone was out of charge! Put it on the charger and I haven’t been able to wait for it to fully charge. I pick it up every 10 minutes and watch a bit. I’m halfway done. Back on the charger. Be back.

I can’t believe people are so critical. I had a terrible day at work today and a very bad month for sales. Not sure what the Lord is trying to teach me. Anyway, I came home and watched your video and it took me away to a completely different world that exists. I found myself smiling and even giggling. I hate shower curtains too sis so since I’m renting I use a cotton fabric shower curtain. It doesn’t let the water through and it just dries. It doesn’t suction to my body! ❤. So glad you got a door. Soooo much better! 😊

I miss having a real tree. But my family likes to breathe. But looking for the perfect tree is so much fun.
I thought it a strange decision to move in November, as your cabin did not appear to be totally ready for an Alaskan winter.. but you guys are really knocking off a lot of projects. I guess the woodshed would have been my biggest concern (I live in BC and am a wood fire-prepper!). How nice to have Joe retired and you can do so much together as a family. Parker is such a great kid. It's been a very cold late fall here in Central BC as well… I knew we would pay for the warm early fall!
