I am so surprised no one talks about this controversially..it just feels like an excuse to normalize…..doesn't it seem just a little more weird than normal with the industry already being what it is…yes I know that the joke is supposed to be the one outsider being weirded out, but that feels like an excuse to (once again) put it on screen. And then they're just won over at the end. This feels very disturbing… "my family is pretty great" I can't believe I never heard of this before and thats it's even a thing and that people are just casually okay with this content when there are people that have been abused by this kind of behavior…it's very insensitive and again disturbing. Wrong. Why is anybody laughing? Why is most of everybody laughing. I hate people and fuck society. I can't wrap my mind around this. Meanwhile they made out with a dog on screen. Like legitimately made out. What the fuck is wrong with people. That's not commitment that is just unethical and gross!

You can divide the world into 3 thirds on this question. The first third gives pecks to relatives, it is a way of showing affection, they have no ulterior motive in this. The second third is made up of people who are not used to greeting in this way, but know that it is common for other people to do this, and they are not surprised by it.
