🤩 With this DIY self watering tub you can still grow a bunch of food, even if you are super busy and have limited space 💚
💚 Here are a few key points:
✅ Remember to cut the 3 A-shaped holes in the bottom of the bottles, this is where the water is been transported up into the compartment where the plants grow
✅ The drainage hole on the side secures that you do not accidentally drown your plants – you decide the size of the hole
✅ A slow releasing fertilizer (I use dried and powdered chicken manure, but there are many options) will ensure optimal growth for the whole season
✅ Remember to cut the fabric where the water retraction units (in this case used soda bottles) are situated
✅ If you are applying dry potting soil, wet the soil from above before planting.
