Kudos to you doing all this work!
Even if your mower does seem rickety right now, she seems to still have some (or a bit more?) live left in her, no weird smoke, no clanking and no stuttering, just do a good service and run her in to the ground with all you´ve got xD
Best to you from Germany

If he died 5 years ago, who's paying the land taxes?

Just about when I had concluded that a deck could be considered similar to a lawn, and if you have too many branches to be able to rake/clean, they need to go, you set about cutting down invading trees. It seemed to be a good yard for mowing the "grass" area first. It was opening up the idea of the property. How many of those trees may have been deliberately planted and how many are seedling volunteers, is questionable. Some seemed to be in a line… Good work figuring out a repair for your mower and getting it done. Made a big difference. That is the first time I've heard of a left-behind trampoline. This mowing is becoming a radical change for the neighbors. You had that look of, "This tree is NOT going to get the best of me!" when going after the one in the second shrub by the shed. A lot of piles of limbs, just from the "lawn" area.
A potential bit of refinement. The Japanese try to keep an area always looking young (unless playing with some form of bonsai). A thing like a dead branch pulls attention and gives a feeling of "death". At 35:13, there is a dead area in the pines. Despite all your piles so far, I'd suggest adding that bit to them. Kevin Hansen ran into that vicious vine you showed us. I can't remember the name but he did say it had a large (bulb) at the base. You got a LOT of work done. (Enter the mower give away at Lawn Care Juggernaut and Cabin on the Hill?)
What state are you in?
