It’s all about difficult deer and easy pheasants this week. Helen Tinner is in the Scottish borders after a sika stag. With guide Nathan Whitehead, they put in the hours to get close to an animal in forestry. Dave ‘the Dog’ Templar steps up to describe gundog training for a field trial, and how he gets a spaniel pitch perfect for flushing and retrieving. And Deborah Hadfield investigates the RSPB, which has stepped up its hate speech against gamekeepers. We are giving away Hoddy’s dog food priced at £140, David is on the news stump, and James Marchington has the best hunting videos on YouTube in Hunting YouTube. It’s all in this week’s #FieldsportsBritain

  1. I went out for a cycle ride yesterday covering 80miles various terrains spotted 1great tit 3ravens and 834 pheasant, this program needs banning.

  2. Good day Charlie and the team, we have Sika in New Zealand and it is great hunting adventure for sure.nice videos with great contents for this week,.Thanks and thumbs up for all of them and greetings from New Zealand,, Tony.

  3. Fantastic as always from the field sports team, I love how we in the field sports community go to great lengths to showcase what we do and produce collaborating evidence to back it up, unlike our friend the animal rights extremists who just post random nonsense on public forums or pretend to multiple people it bid for attention, clearly deranged and I would say a danger to the public, I'm sure if some of them had a sociological evaluation they would be sectioned.

  4. Wareham, Dorset.
It is over-run with Sika, you could make this episode any day you wish.

Only problem is National Trust has been given control of much of this acreage – and they are NOW led by people who don't actually understand it – they are just Idealists

  5. must be fair bad trying to get the public to to eat wild meat with no luck that you have to turn it into dog food🤔

  6. I'd prefer to see sika, muntjac and CWD gone from our landscape but sadly, it won't happen.
The RSPB's lies beggar belief. We could equally say that every osprey the RSPB ring will be thrown from its nest and "murdered". Why? Because the RSPB's ringing team did that before in Scotland, killing a chick. No one prosecuted, of course. But, surely, in the interest of consistency, everyone involved in the RSPB is guilty, they interfere with nests and chicks plus murder raptors.

  7. Once again a great show done by all. Helen is a great ambassador for the sport, her hunting ethics and enthusiasm is magnificent .Thanks to everyone from Australia.

  8. I don't expect such comments from a Khan. Hunting is our tradition and a source of good meat to consume. You should be more focused about preserving the habitats of these animals and control the use of insecticides which are the main cause of population decline.

  9. Thank you for the mention, as ever much appreciated 😁
Great show, always first on the watch list 👍

  10. That is unbelievable with the sika| The heart and both lungs taken out but it still manages to go a 100 yards! One very hardy animal!
