That thumbnail has me shook.
Can’t wait to see the story in the vid.
Thanks for the upload!
He's also known as Frey in some versions of the myth, which I kinda prefer since Freyr sounds too indistinguishable from Freyja.
You're busting these episodes out quick
Fun fact on Freyr; he's portrayed by Brett Dalton aka Mike from Until Dawn. Glad to see him do more things, he puts a lot of charisma in his characters. Also, holy shit, Kratos is telling deep cuts of his past; Deimos was in the PSP game Ghost of Sparta. Hearing him talking about his family shows how much he valued his friendship with Freya; he wants her to understand where he comes from. I hope he tells all this to Atreus, too, in the future.
thanks welonz.
To elaborate on Kratos' past, he was a Spartan captain who would use brutal tactics to win battles saying it was for the glory of Sparta, but his wife could tell it was really for himself. This was proven correct when just as he was bested by a Barbarian chief, he called to Ares to destroy his enemies in exchange for becoming his servant.
Ares accepted gifting him the Blades of Chaos, their chains seared to his arms, which he used to slay the chief. From then on he served the God of War as his mortal instrument until he was ordered to burn a village pledge to Athena, slaying all within the temple, not realizing Ares had transported his family there until it was too late. Ares wanted to severe Kratos from his humanity to create the greatest warrior, as the temple burned down the ashes of his wife and daughter were magically fastened to his skin as he swore revenge against the God of War.
Thus he became known as, The Ghost of Sparta.
I love this so much. Kratos and Freya talking about their traumas even tho they're in such a strained (to say the least) relationship at the moment. It just goes to show how much they both still value each other as friends, even after all that happened. I really hope Freya doesn't die or some bulshit like that. There's the possibility of Kratos dying, of couse, but I'll only believe it when (if) I see it. Even if the game doesn't end exactly with them as friends again, like Welonz said, I'm happy if they can at least end the game "okay" with each other
He absolutely killed them all, though some(like Athena) survive in a ghost-like form. Whether the realm of Greece still exists I think is still unclear, but it doesn't truly matter, I suppose.
Kratos x Freya shippers reporting in 😂

Love ya welonz
13:32 is that a dark elf and a light elf couple?? The one with the wings is a dark elf at least…
8:20 Did she save you or save them from you?
16:30 Suicidal Freya. Or maybe she has learned from Morrigan and was trying to steal your click?
38:20 Typical dad's description of his young days
24:30 Greenherjar.
26:20 A fire creature naturally living in a forest seems ecologically dysfunctional.
In their last fight, Freya fought Kratos and Atreus simultaneously and appeared to have the upper hand. And Kratos didn’t recognized her until the very end, so he definitely wasn’t holding back.
43:46 According to one of the shrines we found Groá was killed by Odin when he demanded to know more about her Ragnarök vision.
This playthrough is a banger can’t wait to see more
18:14 It was a compliment indeed. If Freya sees you struggle in this fight, she'll shit talk you instead.
