Thanks for the update Ivan, you must be gutted the slugs, have had the cabbage plants. Fingers crossed for the container plants. Thanks for sharing.
My plants (except berries and fruit trees) are in containers but still got insect damage. I will be using your prevention techniques in the future. However, the cooler weather and fewer insets, like you said, has revived what is left of my greens. I just picked a very small amount of them yesterday to cook. I love fall gardening.
