In this episode, I show footage of the foundation being painted with a little bit of commentary on the type of paint and the prep I did. I’m not a pro. This is my way of saving a bit of money and DIYing as much as I’m able. The other part of the video is about planting the native plants, and showing the progress of them growing in, as well as a look at other plants I put in and many volunteer plants I did NOT add, but that came all on their own, some of which I’ve identified as native, some that are not native, and a lot more that I’m still trying to ID. I hope you enjoy the long form of this video so you can get up close and personal to the plants and the insects that I’ve seen back here lately. There’s still a LOT of work left to put into this little garden space, but I’m excited to see how it develops over the next couple of years. The next part in the series may involve wood-working, painting, caulking, or other improvements needed that relate to the steps. We need railings, and have been working to get the supplies necessary to build them. Thanks for watching!
