I wish I knew this stuff when I started as a beginner golfer

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight.If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.

  3. Thanks for these tips Danny
    I learned from your “mind the gap” video how to push my right hip back. That made an enormous difference to my wood strokes. In this video you add that we should wind the right hip not only back but as well up. I’ve tried it and it improved my iron shots significantly! The other advice is to load the left shoulder. Here I started to have just too many swing thoughts and my swing ended up in a disaster.
    Do you have an advice on a simple and effective swing thought routine?

  4. Thanks Danny. The second drill gets me started on understanding how to load the lead shoulder. A while back Pete Cowen have a lesson to James Robinson where he talks about loading the shoulder for a draw and loading the shoulder for a fade, but with no explanation as to how that is done. Any chance you can clarify that distinction?

It is sooo crazy how I'll practice and not doing something also cause I can't get any power but I watched your video on now I load my feet by kinda putting pressure on my toes and I was hitting the ball better then ever but soons I'd loose my ball or get distracted I'll loose it for a bit lol but I am doing exactly what you say most ppl do that is wrong. But I bring my arms up higher and just turn my hips instead of lifting up and coming down like a screw. I can't wait to practice again and put this into it.
    It sucks it's now winter where I'm at and most likely will have to wait til summer to practice again. I'm an extremely knew player but I'm better then a few ppl I know that took years for them to get to where I'm at.

  7. After watching your short game session with Pete Cowen, my short games improve a lot. But when I try Pete Cowen's style of the full swing, I always chop and slice badly. What could be the reason? I am lost.

  8. When I get on the course I tend to get my upper body ahead and end up with a closed club face and go dead left. What is your best drill for this? Trying the catapult drill but can’t seem to take that to the course…

  9. I am a beginner/novice, playing for one year. I watched this video before I played yesterday, practiced the first drill in the kitchen and before I teed off. I crushed many of my shots and golf mate said best he has seen me play. Of course still lots to work on and your videos have been wonderfully coaching me along the way. Thanks

  10. Been having fatigue in lead shoulder after range sessions .. how much are u supposed to twist lead arm in backswing? 90 degrees max? More?
