I really enjoy your videos it's my favorite day when you post.But did you know you really shouldn't drink Kombucha whilst pregnant it changes the ph balance in your nether regions and you have a better chance of infections…love love
I love watching all of your videos, but this one had me in tears the entire time sad tears for me happy tears for you. Cherish your mom she seems like a wonderful wonderful lady and you can tell she loves you very very much. Sadly, I suddenly lost my mom October 2009 just out of the blue. We used to cook together and do things together like you and your mom do and I deeply miss those moments and I wish I could pick up the phone and call her and ask her hey mom, how many teaspoons of vanilla do I put in this batter even though I know exactly the measurement it’s just to hear her voice. So please cherish every moment you have with your mom and your dad because you never know when that’s gonna be the last moment you have with them I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a very very merry Christmas and I can’t wait for you to have your new bundle of joy soon you’re going to make a wonderful mother

For holding the gingerbread house together melted sugar works better then royal icing.

I have a funny story about real Christmas trees. One year my husband and kids went and cut down a tree in the woods near us, brought it inside and set it up, and being in the warm house a nest of praying mantis hatched. We had thousands of tiny baby mantises and now none of our kids want real Christmas trees.

Becky since watching you I am trying to put more things in the freezer. Well I told my husband to grab the “ chili” from the freezer so we could have it today for lunch. As we are heating it- it is apparent that this is meat sauce. Moral- label all jars😅

I've been using Kind Laundry sheets for a year now, and like them a lot. They have one that's lightly scented and one unscented, no mess, they work on all my laundry, and no plastic involved…which is why I stopped using the floss pics. I see them littered everywhere, and that just makes me ill.
I love it when you all go shopping ❤️ together so much learning. Love it. Thank you and Becky's Mom can"t wait to watch the cooking one you all do together.

I literally just watched a vid on winter egg production. Chickens lay less when a) it's cold b) there's less daylight / shorter days c) they get older. By 3 most have a drop off in production. So you have a perfect storm there. But like us they are born with as many eggs as they'll ever have so the faster they lay the sooner they run out. I also read that you should let them rest and moult in the winter and feed cracked corn or other higher carb high value food so they can make more body warmth.
I usually use a water pick with my oral B used before hand.
So much mold in the real Christmas tree, when we bought our new house w central air we went with a fake Christmas tree for the first time.. never going back, ours looks so real too.

Becky I keep my yeast in the freezer all the time. I have used yeast that was 9 years old and the bread was beautiful. The freezer will keep yeast much longer than shelf. I so enjoy watching the two of you, planning, shopping and cooking.
Placing a light in your hen house for a few hours after they go to roost during the winter months will increase laying.
We always start our light ahead of daylight savings time, so it might take a week or two to see a difference if you start now.
Just be sure to put it on a timer or make absolutely sure that you do it manually every day.
PS- store bought pop tarts are nasty!!!

You can make homemade ones with pie crust, but homemade puff pastry is so much better.

In the fall chickens will start molting and they take a vacation from laying eggs due to less sunlight.
Yeast will last a very long time if you keep it in your freezer.

Got my free turkey today from Shop Rite in CT. They run their special from Oct 1-Nov22 (so really almost 2 months) if you spend $400 you can get up to a 21 lb bird free or a ham if you choose. Saved ourselves $40 and it's money that I would have been spent there anyway.
I’m just thankful the Lord God Almighty provides all year around for me without running around spending time finding free or discounts stuff everywhere and not being thankful for what He does provides.
