This is a midweek video, but some things in my garden had to be changed. Some of my onions were just not going to work so I decided to pull them. Also, I’ve given up on my lettuce. It was supposed to be harvested in 2 weeks and clearly something when wrong.

In my next video you will be able to see what I decided to do with my new found soil space. One of my original onions still looks okay and the stalk is growing pretty well. The green beans are still dominating.

  1. try some clay pot pieces at the bottom of these pots for allowing drainage.
also, take a look at perennial onions etc..

  2. hey im trying to grow veg indoors too, it takes patience man. kep at it. my lettuce looked like yours too.

  3. I have found that if you make sure proper drainage plants do better. For bigger pots put a few inches of gravel to improve drainage.

  4. 🙁 i would be so disappointed. i plan on trying an outdoor garden this year, i fear the worst though, i have no experience. i hate to be disappointed though, trying to do some research but its hard when you have absolutely no idea what youre doing.

  5. I read if your "backing" is painted flat white its better cause it reflects the light more than a glossy white,or alum foil, that the shiny or glossy absorbs most of the energy..

  6. I tried lettuce right in the window and the same thing. A garderne looked at it and said "not enough light-see how thin and wispy the leaves are, because with no light they don't develop a root system. It is very cloudy here.
