    Hey Fd why volunteer you take all your bins put them in front of dumpster and just throw in what you want so you don't have to climb out with the bins. I would think that would be much easier. Great dive, so much awesome food you're saving from the landfill.

    Great score Frugal Daddy. All the potatoes kind of gave me a Forrest Gump moment….I see baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, wedge fries, potato chips, hashbrowns, stuffed potatoes 🥔 😋….you get my drift I'm sure.
    I was also excited for the salmon, skirt steak (fajitas!), and the brie wheels with the honey and nuts. Nice dumpster egg score too…….

    Eggs, butter and potatoes……I am jealous. You saved soooo much money with a good dive. The Brie looks divine (and yummy). Christmas Eve salmon sounds perfect. 😋 (Keto friends will love the Brie…..back to Xmas….salmon, coconut rice, salad with blue cheese, strawberries 🍓 plus nuts, and a fresh vegetable 😋).

    Wow, another spectacular haul!  Between the hams you found recently and the salmons, you have such great choices for holiday meals! Btw, if you're keeping all 40lbs of potatoes, try taking them out of the plastic bags and storing them in single layers between newspaper sheets. Tends to keep them fresh longer (works for me, anyway).

    Burnt pork ends would be delish!!
    A lot of fun food. U can make broccoli cheese soup with all that cheese. Just add onions, garlic, bouliion, water, thyme, bay leave. Purée when done, but leave some broccoli pieces all around. Salt and pepper. Better than a restaurant. U can add a little milk if it’s thick.

    I love Cheetos too! Doritos too! There seemed to be even more items in that dumpster, but FD got quite a bit. Festive goodies for the holidays, I think I’ll pop by unannounced. Ha!! 🤣👏👏👏 I’ll bring the kids fun items. Too bad u weren’t a block away, or I would. Tell FD to be careful of over talking and dilly dallying. U don’t want to ruin a good place. 🙏👏🙏

    3 eight pound potatoes
    10 pints of strawberries
    I 4⃣ pack sweet corn
    3 packages of celery
    3 packs of yellow squash
    2 packs zucchini
    A total of 25 pounds of onions
    And 3 pineapples!!!!

    A friend passed this on to me,get a pool ladder somewhere and go up it into the dumpster and then flip it to get out.I guess you teater

    That’s a great dive! Where I live the markets have big trash compactors. No dumpsters. I think that us as a country is so wasteful. Why are they saying there’s a shortage of different foods. POTATOES are one of the shortages. EGGS is another thing there’s a shortage. So why are the stores throwing so much food away!! This just frustrates me. Keep on diving.

    I'm with you Amy with the cheese cake when I make them I would say to the kids can you eat at least one piece so I can say I didn't eat the whole thing to myself. Daddy did good in this dive he bought home alot of good food and most of all it is alot of things that you like. Did he tell you that he ate the cheeto's. Everytime he goes to thus dumpster lately I see the blue tote and I think daddy can you take it or throw it in the bin love watching on how much you save from going to the landfill. Here in Brisbane Australia we are having temperature of 35 degrees I think that is in the high 90s over there I would love your cold weather.❤️

    I think if you get some cardboard boxes with straw take the potatoes out of the plastic bags put them in the boxes in a really cool dark place they should last all winter

    Another amazing haul. My Aldi had 6 big plastic grocery bags full of ,i think, soneones shopping. Ribeye, chicken hot dogs, veggies. Brie bake and salad dressing. Wish the person knew and could go collect their food. Sad store threw it out
