Green Core Warm Leaf Composting – Best Compost Ever: The Benefits of Hot, Cold, & Leaf Mold in One

Creating a green core with grass both speeds up the composting process and provides more nutrients. Unlike hot composting which is labor intensive and cold leaf mold composting which is passive and slow, you can get the best of both compost worlds. Worms casting and growth hormones are golden. Worms love leaves. You don’t get them in traditional hot composting. The key is compost compromising!

Alternatives to a a green core of grass:
Any green plants such as your garden kales, collards, radish or turnip leaves and any brassica. You can also use alfalfa feed pellets and used coffee grounds.
