In this video, I’ll unbox two native Paw Paw Trees ordered from Fast Growing Trees.com. I chose these trees because they are native, a source of edible fruit in our northern zone 5b and a host tree for the Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly. Plus, 18 new herbaceous peonies for my new cutting garden! I’ll show you the ones I ordered and the ones Im most excited about!

Morning guys! I have a Huge Bush on the line of my woods itβs super old i want to replace it but it was here before we moved here (20 yrs) not sure what it is or if I would be messing with their path habit..?
Itβs so exciting getting trees in the mail. I could have shipped you some of our paw paw trees, lol. We have them growing wild all along the bank of the creek here in NE KS. Theyβll be fine cuz we get down to -20 wind chills for several days during the winter. Theyβre neat looking reminds me of a tropical plant with big beautiful leaves. I havenβt noticed any deer damage to them either so thatβs a win too. Those peonies are going to be so beautiful! I planted the coral sunset and a Hawaiian one, excited to see blooms this spring even if itβs just one bloom. You know how peonies are taking a while to get going but so worth the wait. Thatβs good to know planting them in the fall. They were my procrastination plants to get planted this year just glad I was able to keep them alive during the crazy hot summer. Have fun in the snow, I saw yβall got a ton of snow up there in New York. π
