  1. Great video! I love the vlog style. People are always making comments about how animal youtubers don’t care for their pets off Camera. I think your channel shows that you are truly always doing something for your animals constantly providing things for them. Showing real life pet ownership🙏❤️

  2. See here where I live Petsmart takes really good care of their animals and petco does not Petco takes bad care of animals but PETSMART takes good care

  3. Congratulations on your tortoise and good luck with your plants I think that your tortoise will enjoy them very much. Love your videos ❤️

  4. Gardening tips: If you want a lot of blooms make sure to fertilize. Though wait at least a month to let the roots of your hibiscus recover. Organic fertilizer smells, so be aware of that. Hibiscus is a warm weather tropical, and won't do well once the days stay below 55 degrees in fall/winter. The small flowers are usually cooler weather flowers, give them shade in the middle of the summer. Good luck!

  5. Lol in the summer my lawn is basically completely yellow because of dandelions so if I got a tortoise I would be loaded

  6. I don't think having fertilizer in the pot is an issue. What I have been told is new growth and blooms are safe. You want to avoid the existing growth since stores may spray insecticides to eliminate pests on plants. The fertilizer can be harmful if ingested or the animal comes in contact with it. Shouldn't be if it provided nutrients for the plant to grow and you eat the growth. Don't have a tortoise yet, but growing some myself so I have new growth when he/she arrives. Seems like most tortoises like the flowers so I know I plan on feeding them since at this point they are all new.

  7. For the water dish…use real terra cotta, not plastic. They have shallow plate looking ones, they are the go to for torts because even a hatchling can get to it. Consider joining tortoiseforum.org they have the best advice from long term owners and the most up to date care sheets.

  8. There’s directions on the seed packet but yes you did all that wrong lol I’m the same way though. My husband is a farmer and can grow anything but I can’t to save my life.

  9. Hi Lori. I just did exactly what you did with the Hibiscus. How long did you wait until you used the new blooms? Thanks!
